Smart Watches
Smart watches must be in "School Mode" function during school hours. Students are not permitted to use their watches for any function other than for telling time. Same consequences apply to smart watches as cell phones. Parents, please remember that messaging your student during school hours on watches violates school policy and can cause your student's device to be confiscated. Please call the office to get a message to your student if needed. Students may return non emergency calls during their break times.
Consequences
Violation of school "Away for the day" policy includes:

1st offense - Confiscation and returned at the end of the day after reviewing away for the day policy

2nd offence - Confiscation and picked up by parent, parent/staff conference, review away for the day policy

3rd offence - Confiscation, picked up by parent with parent/staff conference, review away for the day policy and detention

4th offense - Confiscation, picked up by parent with parent/staff conference, review away for the day policy and daily turn in/pick up of device(s) in office before & after school for the remainder of the current semester.
